Where the curriculum is taught
A map of Madinah Series departments and classrooms is in development.

The Madinah Series – Tajweed curriculum is a very well-thought-out and structured curriculum that makes the journey of learning to read the Quran easy and fun. It is very simple, straightforward, and covers everything needed for students to read the Quran in the correct manner.
I have had so much success with this curriculum that it has been adopted as the official curriculum at the many centres I am a part of.
I have taught Quran for over 10 years and the curriculum I mainly used in all that time was ‘The Madinah Series’. It has an excellent structure for teacher and student, is very simple and effective and I strongly believe that it is the best curriculum to teach Quran.
Upon starting my own Quran Academy, I immediately adopted the Madinah Series Curriculum, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn or teach the Quran.
We have taught over 400 students in 3 years, all over Australia, using the Madinah Series.
Students from all backgrounds and levels enjoy its easy-to-follow structure and form a strong connection with the Qur’an. The teachers love the step-by-step instructions and all the resources which make teaching the Qur’an a reality for anyone.
This is a great curriculum whether you are just starting a centre or considering a fresh start.
Even though I was not an experienced Quran teacher, it was very easy for me to teach the Madinah Series Curriculum. It was very simple and straightforward which made it very effective.
You can clearly see that a lot of hard work has been put into this curriculum and there is a lot of potential to spread this in Germany, which is my aim, inshaaAllah.
I have been trying to learn the Quran for over 40 years. I went to many places and mosques and could not find the right teacher or curriculum to help me learn. One day an Australian brother visited Bosnia and offered to teach me using the Madinah Series.
I was a bit hesitant at first, but after doing 1–2 classes with him, I immediately locked in, finished all three books and have now completed my first-ever khatam of the Quran. The journey has been amazing and without a doubt, it is one of the best curriculums in the world.
My mother Khadijah Strik — who was a revert to Islam and of Australian Anglo heritage — had the same struggle for many years. When she came to Bosnia, she began learning from the same curriculum, learnt how to read, and recently finished reading all of Surah al-Baqarah.
I strongly recommend this curriculum for any centre or Quran school to implement. May Allah, the Exalted, bless all the brothers and sisters involved in putting this amazing resource together.
MET’s main Tafseer curriculum, in Arabic, was shown to the Imam of al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo. After looking at it extensively, these were his words:
This is a great Tafseer book. It is straightforward and a good starting point for beginners and non-Arab Tafseer students to learn from.
It is so surprising that something like this came from a country like Australia. I would like a copy of this book to be used when teaching Tafseer to my students here and overseas. May Allah, the Exalted, bless those involved in developing such a text.

These are the classrooms. Madinah Education and Training publishes the charity’s own account of the same work: departments established, teachers trained, and where the training team has travelled.
